Am starting to seriously breed these Phoenix Marans cross, really beautiful birds with decent egg laying abilities. Does anybody know about showing g birds in Nevada, can I show crossed or mix breed

If you want to show for APA or ABA points, they have to be purebred. Reason being, you can't judge a mixed breed against the SOP, because there wouldn't be an SOP for a mixed breed.

Now, some state/county fairs will have categories that allow mixed breeds. Though I'm not really sure how they judge them, because again no SOP.

Cuckoo Maran , gives them this gorgeous barring

Right , I kind of thought that. Oh well still fun and gorgeous birds. Unfortunately not a lot of fairs around here.
