Interesting ‘Fairy’ Egg

Well, 1 of my quail has been laying steady for the past 2 weeks. Hoping the other 5 will start, given they’ve had a light since Jan too. Anyway, found this tiny egg last night. No yolk, just albumen.

Sounds like a first time layer. The early eggs tend to be smaller, but not that small! You should blow it out and keep it.

Curiosity already killed the cat. I just had to know if there was a mini yolk lol. (Unfortunately there wasn’t, it was just albumen.)
 
I have a broken chicken hen that does this and lays quail sized eggs with no yolk they're pretty cool but they're all so frustrating cuz once I thought it was a quail egg but then to my dismay figured out was chicken and I couldn't eat it I mean maybe I could have eat it but I want to be safe
