Call the local vet school in your area, they should be able to help you out! A friends sister bought a puppy at the local pet store (ugh) and took HIM in to be neutered, they were charged for a spay AND a neuter lol as he has both parts also! He is a goofy lil dog and suffers no problems from being spayed and neutered lol

My friend has two "bottle" babies, that are now almost full grown yearlings. 2 things get her/him castrated and POLLED....
My friend left the horns on his two, and they are getting dangerous with them...I may tell him to go get tennis balls and put them on..
They use their horns on people and are Oberlhasi goats, so are a bigger size.

COngrats.. but remember, he/she won't stay the loving sweet thing NOW... And you could make her too people oriented. That happened to my friends goats.
They don't go out with the horses, and won't leave him alone when he is out working on projects around the farm.
They live in a stall pretty much 23/7, they may get out for an hour a day, due to their "too human" oriented natures now.

I think I would have about had a heartattack! LOL! I'm not sure who the local vet school would be....hmmm...thank you for the idea!​

I have given thought to getting him polled, but that isn't as high on my list as getting him castrated. Also, once he is a little bigger, I will be introducing him to my Lab. She has done her fair share of helping me with baby animals and she will more than likely take him in too

That way, he will be able to go out in the kennel with her for a little bit each day and I will extend the time each day until he is fully an outdoor goat without too much trauma.

You may have a improperly developed male, or a hermaphrodite.

At any rate, you dont have to worry about urinary calculi

As for the girl parts, it is very difficult to get a picture of that because its sorta in fur and I'm not sure I want to spread her personality for sake of a picture. What say you?

Well its no different then showing cow and goat vulva pics on the net to predict pregnancy! I dont know its all kosher to me because Im a vet tech and stick thermometers in butts all day

I didn't see it posted anywhere - but you can just band the testicles using an elastrator, which you can get at almost any feed/livestock store. Since his/her boy parts prolly don't lead anywhere it'd be safe to do as soon as you want. BUT, if you aren't 100% sure those boy parts lead to nowhere you might want to wait until the kid is 8-12 weeks old. The issue with banding too soon in males is that their chance of developing urinari calculi is greater.

Here's a link to a thread on BYH where someone went through their ordeal with a sheep that was a hermaphrodite. Can't imagine it's too different for a goat.
