good news So Malika lay dark eggs .
pairing her to her brother will reinforce the dark egg gene .and will throw some progeny with a darker eggs than they mama .

you hens and pullets are all true breeding stock for the dark egg genes .

I am extremely pleased with their egg color, especially the blue copper considering how light the blues laid when I first started working with the line. They have come a long way.

yes they come along way . all your hens lay dark eggs .nice thing to have .

She hatched from nice dark eggs, although I only for sure know her father is Mr Big and her dam is blue or splash, there are 5 splash hens and 4 blue hens possibly. So far 8 whites have resulted, and the plans are to build lots more pens. I'm really liking them.
