Looks like I have one Black Copper cockerel and one pullet. That's my guess anyway.

yes a boy and a girl .both early feathering type ,great trait .good body type too .
a boy has a better marking .less white on his face .
keep you eyes on him please .he is your corner stone in you breeding program .

my primmy looked liked that. she was 8-9 weeks old when I finally realized she was a girl.

I am trying to collect a few more Blue Copper eggs and a few White eggs to put in the Incubator. It's getting hot and with only the two in with the Blue Copper rooster. I may not get many eggs.

when breeding the cockerel has as much value as a pullets .
if you want to get more cockerels than hatch more in the summer months .

don't worry. I usually see all pullets, lol. not to mention my sight is not good so guessing from the pic is like reading tarot.

I hope I get a good one! Let me know next year and I will send you some eggs. Please remind me next spring because my memory is not very good. I have so many things going all the time.

Depending on how my blue coppers turn out this year I may take you up on it next year. If I raise a few up and they turn out well I may be okay. But with my one hen I just get nervous. I will have to make sure to keep my few blue babies safe. Lol. I tend to be a magnet for tragedy.

Caught Xena laying yesterday. This is her egg. She is the full sister to my blue copper hen. The blue/black line has certainly come a long way.

Ok, let me take a shot at this! His tail is way too high and his back is too short. Comb has extra points. No feathered shank and outer toe feathers. He has a halo and his color is all wrong but I like him!!! Lol
