Chooksman, I should cull original Birchen rooster?

very hard to tell now because the cockerels are young .they body pattern is not complete ,so I don t know .
your Original rooster has a complete and pure silver . you don t want to lose that .give a cockerels few more months and see if they complete a body pattern { Talking about full shoulder colour .

That is also a Birchen pullet in the back. No markings though solid black. I think she looks like she may belong to that hen.

I would have to check but believe the rooster I posted is her father. If I am remembering correctly. Only the three cockerels hatched from the other rooster that was butchered. I will check this evening. I wing band them in different colors depending on which pen they came from.

I think he is 6 months old.

if he is 6 months and shoulder are not fully covered ,than the original rooster is better than him .
do not get ready of your original birchen rooster tell you find better cockerel than him .so far he is the best .

I think shoulder color could still happen. My Birchen are very slow maturing. I hope anyway! The rooster has gotten me before. I go in that pen far enough to do feed, water and collect eggs.
