Sired by Samir Splask cockerel over Kako Dominant White hen .7 weeks old this Sunday .big boy .have few off them ,true brothers few sisters too .happy chooks man

Group#2 . they been in they new pen for 5 days now .no complain so far .every body is happy . heat lamp is only used in the cold night .they are big enough now

those 2 guys will not have a high tail when fully mature.
the Angle is established for the feathers to fellow .

cockerels with high tail @ maturity will have the main feathers even when small sticking high

Yeah their tails look very good. I like it when I see young cockerels with tails like that. I didnt raise many cockerels with higher tails to maturity. When I saw some that already had 90 degree tails at that young age as your two in the pic we culled early.

The whites are gorgeous! You've done very well with them. If I had the pen space I would love to add whites but I need to keep my mind on my black coppers and get them right first. Lol

tonight I removed Day Walker from breeding pen ,he was the last any way .all the hens are running free .all th gate teween the pens are open .so they can go any where they like .a lot fighting tomorrow for sure between th girls for sure .

moved the egg last nigh lizas egg high fertility ,,Expecting Sunday hatch .
DW 50 % he doesn t like Dalakhania and Kako .my best hens .he let me down .

Sunday will fill the incubator for the last time 3 of them .excitted about it new genetic .new pairing .Liza s line X import line . BC/BLC and SP
will be great Xmas present .

Well I hope you get a good hatch rate! It sucks that DW didnt like your two best hens, isnt that usually how it goes though? The birds you want to raise from the most you cant get one chick from. Its very frustrating. We have an old line of Gamefowl we have struggled to raise chicks from for the past few years. The hatchibility and vigor of the line is poor. This year we are infusing the line with new blood again in an attempt to salvage the line.
