he is the Best body type of all the marans rooster in any forum full stop .this guy carries a train load of goodies need to be revealed .

I can t stop looking at him .

IF I had him I ll mate him to Soumaya the Black hen a mother of Wallace and Walker and I ll get the Best looking marans in the world .

problem I don t have him . he is very far away .

he is a working ( stud ) rooster not a Show rooster .

pullet one hasn t got a thick marans head . she is more of a sleek long head .

pullet 2 is all marans .thick head .strong beak .nice colored eyes .alright comb .

I ll mate him to a Blue copper hen without a hackle Burwood . 100% they will wild a faultless progeny .
she have no copper and well placed tail but too short .

this sort of matting will work better

her Burwood so you guys fan see how they much each others.

Can't wait to see them. Do you think the Silver colored Marans are easier than the red brown? What I mean by that is, is it as difficult to get the color right? Does the color affect egg color as much?

he got it all wrong .

the Wheaten = was a actually wheaten and a good one from a good line I sold him his father a year ago .

the White ( specked ) = is actually a dark Silver cuckoo .

and the Blue Copper = is A Blue Wheaten ( he is an F1 cross between the Blue copper rooster from the imported line and a Wheaten hen ) he look wheaten . That was a surprise .safe me 1 year of work .

Actually the Silver is harder to breed than a copper or gold

eggs colors is not related to a color of the feathers .

I just gave him a silver wheaten because I have a parent stock I ll make more this year .better one .the parent are one year older more mature now .

A Silver cuckoo Dark one he give me is a good score , happy a new silver barred gene with a great comb and type well feathered shank .
