LOL.... thanks Chooks man..... I will get some better pictures. He was a good distance away and it was dark thirty, poor light. I only let them out while I clean the pens and refill water/feed. I start about 30 minutes before sunset. I don't think they really understand time, they don't know they have been locked up for 23 1/2 hours! At least they are safe.

I would like some chicks from either of those two hens of yours. They are so nice.

Do you like Bello's copper? He has so much compared to the other two.

You were right..... I have a good start with these cockerels.

Here are pictures of them when they were chicks. Don't know who is who. This is a picture that Feels Right Farm took.

Are you still going to get the 4 chicks from the same line as your cockerels or did you decide against that?
I belive I'm still going to get them, and I was just looking at one of the 4 I already have and one I bought a 3 day old chick that was suppose to be a BCM cockerel. but it had no color anywhere, just black. but now I see copper coming in on the neck. but still nothing on the wings except the white feathers. it 8-9 weeks old now

More pictures..... not good pictures just random.

Claude

Bello - he has two crazy feathers that stick straight up in his tail.

Antonio in a blur.... I learned tonight low light makes blurry pics.

One of the younger pullets -

I have a BCM pullet that has been laying for about a month, she is 24 1/2 weeks old and she has gone broody. Is this normal for this breed?
I have never had a BCM that young go broody. My BBS Marans are the broody hens in my flock.

Bello s copper is priceless .

I can tell now that Claude and Bello are from parent stock .

Antonio is from ( or has ) LP line on him .

Claude and Bello well rectify the problem of black pullets .both of them will never yield black pullets regardless to who they going to be mated too . that why I like about them .

Antonio in other hand is great and will work with a nicely marked hens =to give show bird , and mated too the over colored hens to restore the colors pattern .

they are all great but they don t cover the same hens to give a best result ..
