Has to go my friend .chooks man
Love they short feet. The comb and the white will be your second step. Need individual photos of each cockerel to see which ones we keep. Yellow tag is staying because his mama is from different line. Chooks manPictures of the rest.
5 cockerels total.

This guy has a great comb. Do you still have him or his mama or his sister? Any one of them will help you fix the comb in your new line .chooks manThis is Waylons offspring #2
I dont like him at all. His tail hangs like this all the time. No worms or mite problem. Lowest in the pecking order and awful color.
I keep him around "just in case" but seeing these pictures, I think I will just cull him.

Thanks! good to hear again from you!All class my friend . I ll say it again and again correct Marian’s comb complete body pattern and gorgeous silver . You are the best birches breeder I know .bravo chooks man
slow maturing and fast maturing are both marans traits ,the judge was wrong .Thanks! good to hear again from you!
My daughter took some splash Marans in a young trio and a white Marans pullet and a blue silver cockerel to the fair. Judge didn't like them because my Marans are slow maturing and slow feathering, he was pointing out that they were small yet and the tails aren't finished growing out on the cockerels. Mine don't finish until 12 to 18 months before I see final results. I told her next year she must take adult birds or she just won't be able to compete with the fast maturing modern breeds.
What’s the name of this color variety?Wanted to share some of this year's pullets! Super excited
