That sounds promising, thank you for sharing your expertise I love to take photos seems like many of us here do. Here are a few more, Ill update occasionally as they grow. My Roo is quite a big boy, if feet and legs are any indication he will be a sizable Rooster lol.

yes he is a big boy we can tel from his head ad thick legs . we want our marans to big big ,chunky and heavy .
keep updating us with photos of them as they grow .because they change a lot at every stage of they develoment .
your pullet has a correct copper , rich red coppper .not yellow .
the boy we can t tell right now ,we have to wait for him to grow .normally around 5/6 months will be good to tell .

Hello I have been reading through your thread, wonderful resource! My FBCM’s are from Alchemist Farms and they are 10 weeks old. I have been trying to learn about them and the standards to see if I should breed them when they are old enough. Both seem like solid calm birds so far. Color is still developing of course. Anyway just waving hello and saying ty for all the great info

I may not be on byc for a while. I will try to come on when I can. I have been really sick and in so much pain the last 8 days. My doctor sent me to the emergency room. I have a ulcer and my doctor believes it perforated. I am waiting for insurance to approve the tests I need. Blessings to you all my friends! I will be back when I can.

sorry to hear that. ask your doctor if you can eat some honey. that is the best medicine for ulcers. I just don't know if honey should be eaten when ulcer is perforated. good luck and get well soon.

Thank you! Honey is not on the list of things I can eat but most things are not on the list. I will ask him though.

Thank you Chooksman! I am ready to be well. It wouldn't be as bad if I could control the pain but my doctor doesn't want to add anything else. I am on 2 really strong antibiotics and 2 prescriptions for ulcers. I can only take 2 Tylenol every 12 hours. It helps to keep my fever down but doesn't help the pain.
