Yes, it is so muggy. Always makes me worry about the birds. I have several 7-10 years old. Worry about them the most.
And not much can be done really. Not long term.

I find letting them out to find their own shade works well. They seem to not be as hot.

But it's not always doable.

Oh, I know. They have plenty of deep shade, fresh water, sometimes I take them chilled zucchini or cucumbers from my garden. Their coop has a fan.
Those older ones are good girls, laid well, always healthy and most were good mamas so they are pets now.

Sometimes his legs are closer together.

His copper is very bright. To me it almost looks orange in his hackles.

He is the largest and widest.
