Definitely need to find some better renters. That bachelor was costing me and constantly harassing, and stalking his neighbors.
Actually all my renters ATM are late with rent. Partial pmts only.....

both pens and run are rady to recieve chooks .going down to pick them up this weekend , 7 hour or more each way . living Saturday morning 6 am load up the chooks after dark when they roost and head back up driving all night few stop for rest .I should get back to my place before the day get hot,early morning .lot driving but it all highway ,

here my new marans hatching chick of the year ,meet Solo the only chick hatched last Weekend from 90 eggs ,don t know what happen lot dead cembryos .
I tunned the batore to different setting maybe they have been off for 2 years affectted them ,
I have 40 egg moved to the hacher today should hatch on sunday .all those eggs are from the time when Rashad was running with all the hens .
I fired new incubator yesterday with 49 egg ,this time the egg come from the breeding pen rashad penned with 10 hens ,I trimed his spurs maybe we get different result .hope rashad is not partly infertile .
Solo I this she is Birchen pullet very calm and quite been by her self all the time hardly cry .she kick off when i put my hand in the brooder box .

Have a safe trip. Over her in the Midwest USA we always say “watch out for deer”. So I guess watch out for kangaroos or something.

I hope you get your incubator issues sorted.

I paid a pretty penny for some Marans eggs and got 2 chicks. A white which I was expecting and a Wheaten? Which I was not. Sadly none of the BCM hatched and that's what I was wanting. Oh well, now I have two white Marans I guess I better start building a whole new pen while I look into this variety some more

I hope you will have better luck with the new bator. I don't know what happened but this year in greece was bad for hatching. especially for geese.
