International Black Copper Marans Thread - Breeding to the SOP

The biggest benefit to where I live is that mostly only low income and folks who don't care live near me. There are no covenants, no HOA, the neighborhood is mostly already developed except for the ag lots that I lease or the family owns. The interstate blocks 3 sides, so no fancy folks will ever want to live here and it would be really hard to develop. Sometimes, being in a low income neighborhood has its benefits. Plus, in my state, everyone assumes that every homeowner is armed, so there aren't very many break ins. People might still break into cars or your shed, but definitely not your house, unless you aren't there.
love to live in area like that ,

Yes, it's really neat looking. I should double band it to follow.

@ozmarans any thoughts on this hatch down pattern?
this hatchdown can show up time to time ,make sure you tag it and keep eyes on it, we will see theadult pattern ,I have seen this hatch down pattern before ,does not afect the adult plumage in my experience but I have manage to read a lot article saying it is over melanised , we will see when adult ,

Thanks, we'll keep an extra eye on this one as well. This is a first test hatch for Jett's eggs so now I've got these 4 littles and Momma has gone broody. Gave her 12 more of Jett's eggs.
