your Splash are very nice .uniform strain .well bred .
great body type a little taller on they feet . large strain .take them a white to mature .
breed the splash together first to increase the number and then cross them to a Black copper to get a Blue copper variety .

can y wait to see the egg color from them .

@Khaled

this cockerel is Black copper not a pure black
he look chunky to me . wide at the shoulder .
very hard to see the body color because of the poor light .

Black copper strain from Germany .can t wait to see they egg color too ,

if you breed this cockerel to a Splash pullets you ll get 100% blue copper marans

I have 11 roosters and can only keep 1. It is hard to put the ring on their legs. They don't like it. But I managed to put a ring on 1 to identify him.

How does he look? Is he a keeper? They all look the same to me.

They were born June 5.
I got mine on June 8, probably the same hatch. I have 12 cockerels and 14 hens. I like all of them. Hens have real nice copper hackles. 3 cocks have feathers on middle toe. I have one with too much copper in the chest and one very dark. I'm going to process 6 or 7 next week. Good luck with your birds
