I do like him .but truly I can t really tell . they move fast .
at the end of the Video .I saw another Cockerel ,well chunky .the pullet was between them

you need to photograph them .take your time you seem to have a gorgeous chooks .

I always take photos of chooks late afternoon when they are calmer .not running around .
by the way a BCM pullet in the video is gorgeous . nice low tail and good body type

he do have a long tail

big day today for me .moved the shipping container coop from the old farm to my new place .
need to be cleaned up and painted .plus need the runs .

my new breeder coop design . 4 X 4 . is going to be finished by cladding it with zinc sheets to protect it from the aliment .

the Wheaten hens are well pleased .

I had to remove the ventilation units from the top of the container ,transport reason .

here the photo of the same container in it original place .

Ahh...just those two roof turbines then?
I guess make up air would come thru pop doors left open 24/7?

the main door will be open ,except in the cold winter time .plus the container is fully insulated .
the little doors 6 at each side help to push the air upward toward the willybird ( roof turbine )
in the summer the chooks like to hung out under the container because it is cooler .

I ll post photos when i finish restoring it .

I love this breeding pen design! We also use 4x4 pens for single mated pairs and trios. We have approximately 30 right now and still need more. I may borrow this design when my hubby makes me a few more 4x4 pens for my Marans and Legbars!
