my sick pullet laid 3rd egg. 2 eggs within 14 hours. should I be worried?

I have had a white leghorn hen of mine lay twice in one day so it isnt unheard of. Was the last egg normal at least?

olive eggers still are my dream. in the new place I will work harder to get them. no luck in the past.

How do I sneak this in a Marans thread? I am sure this is a Black Marans with eye problems. She also lays dark chocolate eggs on the oblong side. Lol We had our 8 year old black pug stolen over a year ago. We just got this baby to help heal the large hole in our hearts. Our youth girl is holding her in the picture.

That Marans is a big beefy pullet, but her eye color is wrong. I've seen brown eyes and crow headed Marans but never pug eyed!

years ago I had a budgie bird who was nervous and kept laying eggs. she died. that's why I am worried.

what is easier to fix: golden leakage or parasitic white?

I cracked the last pullet's egg and it was FERTILE! after a month so 2 weeks is not enough if you want to breed.

the golden leakage is easier to fix .

parasitic white is nightmare to fully breed out .take many generation and a lot of back crossing to the correct chook.

only the super fertile hen do that not all the chooks in general .
last year one my Birchen hen hatched a cuckoo chick a month after been separated from Charlie .

I managed to send 4 trios of young marans chooks aged 10 weeks old to the north side of the Country .
those chooks where a send to my clients ( bought fertile eggs from me last year) they had a bad hatch or just cockerels . so I decided to send them some young stock for free as a gift .they paid the Transport fee only . .$155/$135/$145.
1 trio dark cuckoo .the lady want to get some birchen chooks .she is dying to get them .
1 trio Black copper .this lady love to show her chooks .
1 trio Wheaten . this guy only likes the wheaten variety .
1 trio of Black copper .the lady want the big chunky hen . dark egg and some meat on the bone on the cockerels .she is like me .she find out here in Australia the wheaten variety is the testiest off all the marans .

my neighbor who I passed some fertile egg last spring hatched many cockerel too and one white dominant pullet ( Daughter of Sari ) . she is giving back all the 5 cockerel and the white pullets .I m giving her few pullets . she does not breed .only for egg . before I moved to this place she only had a bad hens . now she have a Cream LB 1. BC 1 . SP 1
CK 2 . Wheaten 1 . Araucana1 .

I m well pleased to get the white pullet back .NOW I have 4 pullets 3 Dominant white all Sari s daughter over Zambezi and Spotted Rhino .
1 Recessive white Grand daughter of White Storm .

life is good down here .a lot friendly peoples . I love this Country and the chooks .
