I am beginning to understand the theory..... now if I can actually bring it to realization. I can't wait to start putting them together and seeing what I get.
that is good you are getting it.
if you look at the standard you will see they give us spectrum to work with never one solid point.
Color = copper to red copper.
Chest = spotted or black
Shanks = grey to dark grey with pink .
when we work with a spectrum trait ( like chest color) we need a balance . Mean only one breeders need to have that trait Not both. spotted chest rooster X black chest hen .
Dark shank hen X light grey with pink shank rooster .
Etc............................
When we are working with a fix trait like ( eye color ) orange we need both breeders to have for a great result.
