International Black Copper Marans Thread - Breeding to the SOP

My boy is 7.5 months old. I think he's handsome. His copper is amazing to me. His tail is not full yet. He's quite broad.

Critiques?

I can't get the breed standard to load on my computer so I'm going by my brain here haha.

Colour is super nice. Almost Perfect.

Comb has quite a few little springs, that doesn't matter much. Breed to a hen with a good head/face.

Tail is nice, held pretty low, could be that he was ready to roost for the night.

Back is nice, flat and long.

Chest is developed well, he could still continue growing a bit at 7 months.

Nice amount of under fluff.

Ear tufts are the right color, shank color is correct.

Waddles, ear lobes and comb are a good size.

Overall body type and color I love this guy.
What's the bloodline?

how's everyone been? I sure hope yall haven't been as busy as me, but all is good. I just wanted to see what everyone thought of this girl. I'll think she is maturing nicly, but I tend to be wrong for time to time. I don't have picture from all anglesides so please work with me. I dressed up like a big pumpkin and set still for a hour to get her to relax just to get these.

I'm just picking about the pumpkin thing, but it is a idea I been debating. you all know how hard it is to get pictures of chickens.
kfelton0002 says to put them on a kitchen counter, she swears it works everytime for picture taking.

@ Braxton...thanks.
I do not know what lines he came from. I bought him off a local lady as day old chicks. I don't think she knows either.
He has very lightly feathered feet. I wish I can upload a video of him sitting on my lap at 6 months old. His copper is truly amazing in person.

The feathered shank is an easy thing to put into a line. I bred a well feathered cockerel to a completely unfeathered hen and got all feather chicks, it just something that varies between bird on occasion. I will upload a photo of a hen with a nice face/comb.

why not train them ,they are domestic animal any way ,they should learn .

we are not raising wild chooks ( jungle fowl )

chooks like treat ( all the animal do ) so they could be train . No kitchen counter , no pumpkin , just harmony .they express them selves better .

here few photos of how my chooks they are well train for the photos shot session . like models going to work .

you see in this first photos ,they are on the other side of the run about 20 meters from me . you can see White Dragon coming toward me . he is half way . always the first to get to me .

I called them and show them a camera ( my camera is Red color ) plus the treat bag .

now the are all coming toward me . I m still on the same spot .

White Dragon looking at the bag. the pullets are right behind him

they are all looking .got they attention .

here Cheese ,saying what about me . she loves her photos been taking . she know she is pretty .

I can take as many photos as I like . when i finish ,they just move away .

chooks man
