He is so missed! Please come back!Where is Chooks man when you need him!![]()
I wonder if some chicks don't eat enough because of the others. when I separated my cockerels they all put the weight on.
We need head on/side views of beaks. Congrats on the new babies!View attachment 1358228 Yeah!!! Picked them up at 5 am. Shipped all the way from California! Only got 4 marans. The rest are 1 cream legbar, 3 welsummer, and 2 "sage egger" (a mix they created - in guessing CL and welsummer). Their flock is having broody issues so they weren't able to fill my order completely at this time which I'm okay with. I think @RedBanks said he could tell sex on day old marans? May test your skills for fun later![]()
Don't know we have to ask Kfelton0002. I hadn't thought of that. Maybe it is a pullet! Now that you mention it, it does look more like a pullet that a cockerel. Kfelton0002 said cockerel and I never thought of anything else. @kfelton0002 What do you think?
Chester plumped right up soon as I got rid of my other roo (who mind you was a bantam Cochin 1/3 his size)
