they also have golden cuckoo marans.

he look s good to me ,hard to see him properly in this shot .
like his comb a little larger but correct .

you can get few different varieties from this dude if matted to a proper hens .

golden cuckoo will be very helpful too . send photos please . you need to select the best cockerels out there .

chooks man

I am glad you say so many nice things about this handsome guy. if I was closer he would be mine even if I had to steal him:oops:

my opinion: he might not be too high from the front. my boy stands like that when I am watching him (or taking a pic). at least my boy is very arrogant and does not know to pose.

his stand is correct . but because his chest luck the depth make him look tall from the front .
he is not on his feet ,but tall from the front .

chooks man

partridge pattern does not exist in the marans genome regardless what those Dutch peoples are saying .she is a golden salmon for sure .

chooks man

what do we need to create golden salmon marans? I love this colour and I don't care about the correct name. is there any chance I can create them? I have just asked in marans aspiran if there is anyone who has them.

at this moment I cannot get any roos as I don't have room. I am thinking of getting some of these in a few months.

what can I get by mating golden cuckoo to bcm?

They do get relaxed and not so high. They almost go into alert mode Maybe it's because I go into the pen or because they are in with the other roosters.

is your blue tag mean with you or the other roos?
He is challenging me ready to get me. I have to stand still until the others draw off his attention or he would get me. He is definitely head rooster and is also mean to the rest. He is why I had to separate the red tag rooster. I could use him long enough to get chicks but he could end up chicken dumplings. Look a good name for him chicken dumplings! Lol

when I had 3 boys together 1 of them started to be mean. once they got separated the mean one became a puppy. I gave him to my friends and whenever I visit them I carry the roo and he never complains, lol. he takes good care of his ladies.
