here my new hatchling , Dominant white .solid black.Black copper and Blue copper plus some cuckoos .happy about them,

Dalida Dominant white hen and Amor BC hen .both are correct on confermation .and both lay very nice dark eggs with a correct shape .Ovall ,not long type .
both hens have they combs are they weakest point .

the farm is getting greener every day .the spring started vry good .th animal are loving it .we had a long cold dry winter ,good rain last couples of weeks .

last night moved 74 fertile eggs into the hatcher . started with 93 eggs 19 infertile from 3 roosters. the cuckoo is the one to blame .he is been out .last hatch from previous pairing
Black Mamba 29 eggs ,6 infertile .
Stallone 20 eggs 3 infertile.
Arnold 31 eggs 10 infertile
let wait for Sunday /Monday .

Happy hatching chooksman! I can't wait to see them grow out. I was out today and my Black Copper cockerel is starting to fill out but still has a ways to go. I am well pleased with him so far.

good news .
my friend Liza agreed to supply me with 20 Dz marans fertile eggs .only dark ones from .Blue copper pen
black copper pen
Birchen pen

she hatched enough for her self this season . her hens still laying good large dark eggs .early spring .
she will supply me 4 Dz every weeks for 5 weeks ,start next month .
she sold me 2 BCM cockerels from the import line .good type but they don t lay dark eggs .
