Splash copper cockerel Khabib will be penned with a white Recessive hens .
they are big correct body type hens all over 3.2Kg each. they weakest point are light egg colour #4 .they tails are too long and combs are large with bad points .
The Cockerel Khabib has a comb , short tail and dark egg genes .
let see what happen ?

I hatched these 2 pullets in july from some eggs that I picked up from a local gal. I am not sure if they are ok type or not?

both pullets have a correct marans body type .

I like both .they have different body type but both correct . they eyes are a little marbling type .still young .they should turn red /orange .

lighter Blue pullets has a better long back ,butter Blue colour with gorgeous lacing ,has more marking on her hackle . but she is a little thinner.

dark pullet has a proper body type ,well chunky ,her tail is too high ,love her deep chest .I like her better .
love to see they egg colour one day .do you have any photos of the eggs they come from ?

this coming Sunday going to pick up 10 Dz fertile marans eggs from my friend Liza , she is collecting only the dark and the specked one .

Tuesday I ll be picking 2Dz fertile marans wheaten variety and 2 clay wheaten pullets {dark body type}from my friend Don .

looking forward to all those new chicks/eggs /chooks.

Chooksman, I changed my first post. I have two BLCM pullets. Yellow and pink bands. The pink band is also in second post. Could you comment on them both and which cockerel you would put them with. Blue Copper or Black Copper? They are the two I like the best so far out of my pullets.
