I won't go in detail on each one. Mostly because I need to look at pictures at same time. I can't remember long enough. I like the body type. Long flat back. Shaped like a brick. Don't ever want a bird shaped like a triangle. With nice tail angle. The first one has good shoulder color. All I can remember off the top of my head. How bad did I do?

when selecting the cockerels ,the beefier ones ar not allways th best .
cockerel should be with a correct body type even if he is small .we look for th shape of th body , brick like ,size will come latter .
cockerel should has a complete body pattrn or closer too .
cockerel should have correct Stand ,Elegant and free from any deformity .
cockerel should be sound with a good head ,eyes and smaller comb .
cockerel should be hatched fom dark egg .his dam should be a dark eggs layer .

Mass will come from Mom .
@kfelton0002 all your cockerels are beefier bcause they dams { your hens } are heavy and large .
Duke adedd the length of the back .lowered the tail angle .and added some body colour .

I just think the beefier ones look best and would definitely show better. I will have to choose wisely the ones I keep for breeding. I have been watching them to see which ones impress me the most. The brown eyed cockerel may end up being a cull because I know that is a trait that is passed greatly from the male. I also will likely cull the high tailed cockerel as well. I have come to far to back peddle in the tail department.

I love your chick setup! Congrats on the big hatch. If you lived where I could ship to I would send you some Legbar cockerels. I have Cream/crele and white Legbars.

If you need to offload another cream cockerel, I could use some new blood in the cclb pen.

Yep, I probably failed. Lol Number 3 has white in foot feathers and tail feathers. I better look closer at the ones I picked.

Queen had a white primary feather that persisted after her adult molt, so the white came from her. He didn't have the feather as a cockerel, but it showed up as he molted this year. This was his first adult molt. I will be putting him with Duchess (Duke's sister from Harvey). I'm not sure it would be wise to cross full brother-sister (Prince x Malika) because of the white. I haven't noticed any white on Malika but I haven't handled her since her molt.

breeding full brother sister chooks ,is only for testing or when they parents are correct in all the aspect .
half sibling is better for line breeding because of the 255 variation in genes make up .

I will take the white on they feet if the shoulder colouring is comlete . hackle pullets are most important to produce ,the white feather we breed it out later .
I select the hens they don t have any white feathers to mate with if they have a comlete shoulder colouring ,it is very important when breeding BC .BLC .BIR and SC. other wise we end up with solid pattern.

I will coment on them one by one , I look @ every trait .every part of they body .

to fair to the bird we have to look @ what they where bred for ,what breeding program they come from ,some fault in one pen is more axceptable than other .

in this case @kfelton0002 chooks .they where bred to fix the tail angle .Duke did just that .
where needed some length on they back .Duke did that .
where bred to eliminate the hallo from Duke ,some succses .
Down sizing the comb .Duke did that .

So over all our Friend @kfelton0002 doesn t know she did a great job ,because her breeding program was a seccses @ high rate no 100% { no many peoples can clam that high score} .I say the program was 90% seccsefull.
if @kfelton0002 marked all the eggs from wich hen ,than some pairing are @ 100 seccses .
