this is just half of the front side I m clearing .there is 3 more side to side . it is si thick in some places .
a good thing about this place is never been any chooks or domestic animal in here before . fresh start .

yeah I think it is a time to start a new thread specific for all marans traits and how to breed them , this thread is to long now good for all around information .
I m preparing few notes about a marans genomec ,I ll srart a thread in few weeks time when I by note are ready .
will be interesting for sure and easy for peoples who want to ask question about breeding and pairing they marans .

building a town is never easy , chooks town is no different ,just doesn t have a shoping center that all
lot work for sure I m thinking will take me about 6 months to get it done ,hopping before xmas if every thing go alright .
5 acres of bush . when is finished will be the largest marans chooks stud in the word . all varieties plus I ll breed new ones too never seen before .

Hi Everyone! I hope you have all been well! Sorry I have been absent for so long. I really have some back up reading to do! I only did 1 hatch this year. They hatched a couple days ago. My rooster that was beat up he is not fertile He never fully recovered and his comb looks pale. I think I need to worm them and see if that helps. I hatched 13 chicks 4 blue 9 black. One in the first picture has a brown spot on his head. I think maybe one other also has a brown spot.

Your blue chicks are so much lighter than mine was. Is there an ideal shade for blue in marans or does it not matter?
