Today is day 6 so going to be trying to candle. I'll have to do it tonight after bedtime as our 3 year old grand daughter is here for the week and she doesn't play well with eggs unless she's baking with her Nana.
Fore warning to be on standby with questions and pic overload...
I'm still trying to come up with a quick way to separate the MMM's and OE's at lock down. (Stitch plastic mesh card thingys I'm thinking) ....they sell dividers but a little pricey for me at the moment so diy.
I did pick up more leg bands to keep records of who's who for records.
Hoping we don't lose power with this storm rolling thru today (5-9" of snow expected) but I've got a generator if it does.

No, Esther's last couple eggs. I was just curious. Kinda confirms I won't see any Olive Eggers.
Like we discussed she was on break and just started laying again when I put King in her coop and haven't seen him mate her yet.
I'll know more candling tonight.


I do want to break open a few BR eggs also just to get a look see.
