I had hatch like that few of them ,hens just come out of the bush with just one chicks ,Copper and her solitary little one. This hatch was a busted egg catastrophe, I'm surprised any hatched.

A waste of a great broody, she's a good momma. Been getting some nice egg color from Ravens 2 pullets so need to hatch more.I had hatch like that few of them ,hens just come out of the bush with just one chicks ,

Thanks...I haven't got the chance to hatch any from those darker W/W eggs as she went broody. I've got 2 little ones so far from W/R with more in the incubator. These are F2 backcrossed to Kong, so not sure how they'll grow out but wanted the dark eggs kept in the flock until I get the breeders penned up.nice dark eggs bravo
