Hello there, I have three chicks 6 weeks old. Found bloody stool in their pen this morning. Incidentally they are all doing well. Spritely and hungry, running around etc.No fluffed up feathers or listlessness. They are in a no medicated organic feed and raw corn on the cob. To add to the mystery I have fed them a bit of watermelon a couple of days ago. They have been exposed to outdoors with my free ranging flock for periods of 15-20 min last few days. (Hens are not showing signs)
I do have Corid amprolium meds on hand, but I’m hesitant.
My instincts say to wait and watch but thought I’d get some advice.

I also would watch and wait. If you see any signs develop, you can start treatment right away then. It's intestinal lining, though a lot of it. I would not treat if I saw that once and everyone was acting fine.
