1. I am kinda new, only kept chickens after moving to Austin Tx.
2. This year, the number went down, but I currently have 5 silkies, one blue egg mix, and a rouge rooster.
3. I really like to focus on color egg layers. They are more fun
4. For me, I really like the cute but also relaxing nature of chickens. (Usually) when you raise them, they are very cute and loving.
5. I also sing, piano, coding, and making things.
6. I just graduated college with soft dev degree. My 2 sisters are cute but noisy and nosy. My father currently enjoys spending his time building the house and cutting the grass as my mother is usually busy with my sisters and her doggy hobby.
7. Honesty, I found this site by chatGPT, trying to figure out how to genetically modify my silkies to keep that fluffy fur and black skin with blue ears, to also lay blue eggs instead of white. I was going to see if I can do that on my own, I already have a bunch of silkies, and just need to wait a few weeks for them to start laying. Hopefully, that works too, but I was like, what if someone else has already done that. So i asked GPT to scan the web for anyone else who has tried so we could get connected and develop that mystical Japanese silkie chickens together.
