Many thanks for the warm welcome! I've never heard of "BackYard Herds" but will definitely look into it. Not many of us emu folks in my neck of the woods. Always happy to network! Have a good one -- Lisa from TennesseeHello! Welcome to Backyard Chickens!
And wow, that is so cool! Your Emus are so pretty!
Everyone here is so kind and helpful
You may also want to checkout BYC's sister site, BackYard herds, I think I've seen some Emu owners

Pyxis -- sorry about that! Hmmmmm. Wondering who would have worse winters -- Wyoming, or Vermont? The older I get, the more I appreciate not having to shovel snow. I was stationed in Maine for 5 years where your nostrils would freeze shut if you made the mistake of taking a deep breath outside. But I do miss the outhouse races in Caribou....but not enough to go back! Have fun and stay warm -- Lisa from TennesseeHaha, they were tagging meI have emus in VT
Welcome to BYC! Always great to have another emu keeper join!
Debby -- it really doesn't take much to confuse me on social networking sites! Thanks though -- was wondering about you having emus in Wyoming!Sorry for the confusion...I don't have emus, another member named Pyxis does.
