The chickens here are very interested in gardening. I don't know quite what's wrong with them but they haven't quite got the planting aspect sorted out yet.
Six sheep here as well.

How many chickens do you have now? Will you be adding chicks or started pullets? It's always a good idea to quarantine all new birds to rule out any unseen illness before starting the integration process. Also be sure to check for mites, they can spread to an entire flock rather quickly.
