Introducing a new batch to the flock

Hi everyone. About 6 weeks ago, my husband and I hatched our 1st batch of call ducks (7 mallards and an Indian Runner). We hatched our new batch (all Indian Runners) a few days ago.
1. When should we start the introduction process?
2. What procedures have you found works best?
Any advice is appreciated as we are first timers. Thanks!

I've seen some people put the little ones in a dog kennel and let them see each other for maybe a few hours a day. You may want to wait until they're just a bit older, and be careful about them getting stuck through the bars of the kennel. Once they're older and you think that the older ducks are fine with them you can start letting them have supervised outside time.
