Introducing a new gosling to one we've had a couple of weeks?

My husband and I have spent the last couple of weeks raising 2 lovely gosling ladies we names Lucy and Luna. Unfortunately Lucy had some health problems, and despite trying everything we could find or think of we found her dead this morning in the brooder.

We know that typically you don't want just one goose or duck for a flock because it can lead to health issues so we quickly found a local farm store that had goslings in and got another so that she can have a sister still, who we have named Starlight.

My question now is how long do I need to quarantine Starlight separately from Luna? Luna is by our estimates almost 4 weeks old, and unfortunately Starlight is a good bit younger at just a handful of days. Just having them in side by side brooder areas helps the two (we brood inside the house) but we can hear Starlight and Luna trying to jump out of the brooder so that they can be near the other gosling when we're not in the room with them. They of course can't get out of the brooders, we checked, but they try.

We have them in the same brooder now. My husband and I are taking turns watching over them for the time being but so far so good. Only a little bit of nipping and it's more gentle preening nips on the part of Luna like she would give Lucy when we gave them bathtime.

I'll keep you guys updated on how it goes but it's looking good so far

They're getting along great! Thank you guys for letting me know it should be okay to put them together right away.

They've been together since I got replies yesterday and there have been no issues!
