introducing gander to goose

we went out and got a gander for my goose, she is a chinese, he a touloose- what is the process if any of integrating? they seemed fine today wandering around, but he won't leave the pond tonite-

I just turn any new ones loose with the rest, they work things out.

That is not a Toulouse.. it is an AfricanXToulouse cross.

Just turn them out together... they will work out fine! Might do some wierd neck motions, but it'll work out...

an african/tolouse...well thats ok, just needed her to have another goose friend- got him off Craiglist- so he should be fine on the pond then for the nite- poor guy was getting chased around by one of our guineas- but our goose seems ok with him..

Haha.. just make sure he knows what to call home, so he won't run away...

so should i coral him tomorow for a few days, like you do with guineas?

I would try to have him penned up for a day or two.. It would eliminate any potential worry of him leaving.
