I have had chickens since I was a kid. However for several years I stopped owning chickens.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Currently I have 46 birds; 39 females and 7 males.
(3) What breeds do you have?
I have a mixture of breeds
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I love animals in general
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I like to build my own things. I'm a novice though.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I am married, father of three adolescents, I worked as a foster care social worker and we have 4 dogs.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? :
searching the website for answers to my questions about poultry care and maintenance I found the BYC. In hopes of answers to my concerns about my chickens health I decided to join the BYC group.
