Colorado us

We first got chickens a couple years ago that disappeared but we have new ones and we are excited. We got new ones and We have them split. 2 at one house 4 at the other. We don’t know the breeds of our beautiful chickens. I love seeing them everyday. More hobbies of mine are Arts and crafts. We have 3 cats and two dogs as well. I joined because our chickens have had many fatalities and I wanna keep them as long as possible!

:welcome

Sorry for the loss of your birds. Do you have any idea what happened to them...were they ill or lost to a predator?

Well our previous ones we think were eaten

Our most recent ones
One of them died unexpectedly
Another was disabled and passed
The same breed as the disabled one passed recently and we think due to egg binding

Welcome! If you post pictures of the chickens you can get help to identify them. Do you have 2 coops or are the chickens in different locations? Lots of info about housing and predators available, also about illness in chickens. Good luck with your new flock!

Thanks, I definitely will. Our chickens are separated
