introducing orpington pullets to the roo

hi,

at what age can I introduce buff orpington to the roo? he is about 1 year old and very horny. I don't want him to hurt them.

thank you. I know it would be best but I don't have a place to keep them separate for so long. I am going to pick up 2 buff orpington pullets that are about 2 months old. at the moment I have some chickens of that age but as they grow fast I think there will be no room for them. my orpington roo took so long to mature so I guess the pullets will as well. I was hoping the age of aprox 4 months would do. btw, these will be my first orpington pullets, I am not familiar with the breed. as they are a bit heavier birds they might not start laying when it is too hot.
