Introducing pullets to connected coop and run

Ive built a 3 sided coop where the roost area is open to the run. I'm introducing my girls on Saturday and am looking for advice at how to get them up the ladder and to the roosts. Want to start them with the right habits.

I had to put mine it the first night. Then left them in almost all day. Let them run out 2 hours before dark and never had a problem after that.
