There are 3 each of:

Black Langshans
Dominiques (My husband wanted to have some barred birds and I chose these over Barred Rocks because he works at a Revolutionary War historic site).
French Cuckoo Marans
Silver-Laced Cochins (My 15yo son's choice).

I absolutely love my Ideal langshans. They are beautiful. Their eggs are tiny but they have wonderful personalities. You'll be glad you picked them.

It's funny how small those eggs are in relation to the birds, who are huge! I always hope that means we'll have them longer since laying isn't as hard as it is on XL or jumbo layers. It's still plenty of egg.

I got home after a day of no one home to check on the chicks and they're all doing fine. I'll need to catch them and check for pasty butt again after dinner, but they attacked their fresh dish of wet mash.
