Introducing.........

He's got a huge comb and wattles like Stan did so I'll bet the ladies are gonna love him.

I'm curious, because I don't have a rooster, is there any "pecking order" sorting out when you introduce a rooster to an established flock of ladies? I know I've had a terrible time with pecking order issues with my tiny back yard flock. I do think we're in a good place now that everyone has lived together for the past 5+ months. I'm guessing that the hens wouldn't likely go up and peck a rooster. And roosters are typically so loving of their ladies. I'm just curious.

After quarantine, I'll use my gogo pen to introduce him to the girls. I'll set up the pen inside the coop and place him inside. This way he can show off his manly beauty within the protection of pen.

I get a lot of use out of my gogo pen:

"show off his manly beauty within the protection of pen". That is priceless! But, hey, if it works, which apparently it does, then it's the perfect setup!

Oh, that pen is awesome. If the openings were a tad smaller, it'd make a great brooder too.
Course, I'd have to figure out a way to cover it too. Hmmm.... I'm always looking for a solution to my pain points.

I cut chicken wire to fit the top and clip it on.

Wow, is he handsome. Steele, the Real Deal, Man of Steele, Super Steele. Steele is the perfect name for him. I am sure he will put on a good show for the hens when he meets them.

Congratulations on your new roo! Steele is one very handsome guy. He's very lucky to have found such a great home! He doesn't realize it yet, but he has a bunch of beautiful ladies waiting for him and a BYC fan club eager to meet him too. It's like being an instant celebrity.
