What is the friendliest rooster?

I'm so sorry to hear about your previous coyote attack. We had a fox come in February 2024 and take out half of our flock. It was horrifying. And I was a mess for a while trying to free range again. I feel for you

As far as friendly roosters, we love our Whiting True Blue roos and our Buff Orpingtons. Ultimately, it depends on your flock goals in determining the breed of rooster you want to keep.

The friendliest ones I've had were my German New Hampshire and a black Australorp.
