Hello there! I am excited to be part of this group from novices to veterans.
A little about me:
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I am VERY new to having chickens and we just them last night, 3/11/18.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Six...for now. :)

(3) What breeds do you have?
4 Barred Rock and 2 White Leghorn
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
From a book I bought " Chick Days" by Jenna Woginrich
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I love horses (don't have any of my own), taking care of our ranchette (2 acre property) and hopefully begin my own garden.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. My husband and I are empty nesters.. well as far as human kids are concerned. (lol) We have 2 rescued mixed black labs and now 6 chicks. I have 3 grown daughters & 4 grandkids, who don't live close by. :( I am a stay-at-home wife and very blessed to have this life.
