(I'm sorry I didnt know what to title this) i apologize for not posting here right away, I'm not good at thinking of what to say about myself so it took me a while to come up with anything. I've lived on a farm my whole life, raised countless chickens, ducks, guineas, turkeys, and only a few geese, and several other types of pets. I've helped raise calves without mothers for my dad, as they're his cows, and occasionally help my sister with her rabbits. I still live with my father and am on disability.

I havnt raised any of these for a few years and only had a couple geese i raised, but after one of them died due to an old jaw injury, I couldnt let him live alone, so i temporarily gave him a few duck friends from my sister. I think hes glad not to be alone, but I dont think hes really bonding with them and seems more like hes just tolerating them. so I thought it would be best to get more geese for him, so I bought some online and now have 10 goslings.

i am by no means an expert on any of these, far from it I think, so i still seek help and advice for anything I'm unsure about.

I'm delighted to be raising them again, I've missed taking care of them.
I have issues with anxiety and trouble responding to people sometimes, I apologize in advance for this and will try my best.
I hope I'm doing this right, if not I can delete this.

as I dont like to speak of myself, I'll talk about my pets.
I have three dogs, kismet(10), tinsel(9), frisk(4), two cats, vodka(9), jericho(1), a roman tufted goose named manfred(5), and now 10 goslings and 8 ducklings. I have 3 temporary adult ducks with manfred, but my sister will be taking those back after my goslings are old enough to join him. the new ones dont all have names, they get names whenever I think of something, so far I've named the runner duckling burj khalifa(tallest tower in the world I think), and a couple others are maximus and cocomo.
I only know for certain 5 of the ducklings breeds I have, fawn/white runner, snowy mallard, buff, black/white magpie, and blue swedish. the others are just guesses of khaki campbell and black/brown swedish or golden 300.
as for the goslings, I got them as 'hatchery choice' and I'm a little disappointed that it looks like theyve sent me only two types of their six, the African and Chinese geese. I was really hoping I'd get a nice mix or at least one saddleback, but I guess that's what I get for leaving it up to them.

the current pen i have will be too small for all of them, plus it's not a great pen since it's in the shade and gets muddy very easily, or well, was in the shade until about a week ago the huge tree in our backyard got blown over. which was terrifying, woke up to a loud cracking noise, looked out the window and seen the tree literally falling, and jumped out of bed to go check on my goose, I was so worried it fell on the pen and crushed them, but it literally missed by a couple feet, though one of the limbs had pinned the door closed, but it was quickly fixed with a chainsaw.

but either way, the pen is still too small for my flock, so I will be trying to build a much bigger pen for them in a sunny location, along with a big shed/house instead of their current small crate AND a small pond instead of the kiddie pool. the pond will be the hardest, but I've done a lot of research from other people online who have tutorials and whatnot on building a duck pond, and other then the labor of putting it all together, it seems fairly simple.. hopefully. I'm excited for it though, I'm hoping to even add fish to it, big enough that they wont get eaten of course, and hopefully I can make it look pretty with some plants that the ducks and geese wont eat but arent poisonous for them.. I doubt I'll get it anywhere near the nice vision I have in my head, but at least theyll have a little pond to enjoy.

included a few pics of the tree that fell, frisk, some of the ducklings and my cats

You’ll do just fine, as a matter of fact, if their needs are met, you’ll do GREAT!
The background cat...is that a Himalayan? Be still my beating heart! I had a Himalayan & he was the best pet ever...by far! He was a cat, a child, a dog (loved to play with our boxer & our golden), and also The Boss of Me!!! My heart is melting thinking back on him!

oh, I dont know, I dont think hes a Himalayan since I adopted him for free from some random person, hes a pretty boy but hes the most annoying cat I've ever had, hes always knocking things down where he shouldnt be, a rebel
Their personality is very mischievous and they love attention! Maybe a mix if he’s jumping on things...not that every cat fits into an exact breed category, but the Himalayan standard is usually not a big jumper or climber since they usually have shorter legs...
