Ipod touch in the Class room... A new way too look at it

Ipod touch in the class room? Crazy idea some might say. But the Ipod can do (most) every thing a Laptop can do!

Ipods are already being used in the Classroom. The thing is Kids are liking learning. I use my Ipod in class. The benefits are endless.

So what do you all think about about Ipods in class.

Heck...I let kids use phones all the time...why walk down and get a laptop when they can surf the web with a phone...

A couple have the nicer types that can be used for such things but for the most part no. They would rather find out what type of games they can play and listen to music rather than apply them towards the forces of good. We try to point out the positives which is why we allow them to have their phones during school (we did not last year) Still amazes me that they think we don't see them texting. Doesn't work when teachers have cell numbers...you should see the look on their face when you text them to stop texting!

Our high school policy is no electronics in the classroom. And if a student is caught with any electronics during a test they automatically fail the test. I love that our school has taken a stand and implemented these policies. I know that a lot of people won't agree with me and that's okay.
