Hello all, happy 4th of July. I use a multi vitamin supplement for my flock because I have had the Mareks virus on my property. I was losing 1-2 chickens a month from August to January, until I started using a multi vitamin routine. Haven't lost one since. Part of my vitamin plan is putting rooster booster in their water a few times a week. But that contains iron which I know is not safe for chicks. I have a new flock of Silkie pullets and cockerels that are now 3 months old. Is it safe to give them that yet or do I still need to avoid iron for them? (They were vaccinated with the strongest Mareks vaccine on the market, so I'm hoping for the best)
