I was about to say.. irregardless is not a real word.. i mean i suppose it is.. but it hurts my eyes!!

I also hate when people say was for were.. and many other things.. but i married a man from tennessee..

oh good....cuz i thought i was in trouble for saying some "other" words....that i found out get filtered but when you quote, one can see the "original" word.

I have to disagree this is a chicken board not a board for a bunch of grammar nazis. Some people can be very smart I am talking genius type smart and have bad grammar. I tested IQ wise just under genius ( alot of years ago), took AP classes in high school and honors classes in college and have to work very hard every time I sit down to type something or even to write down my thoughts. Math no problem!! English and Grammar and Spelling stink. I have been attacked by grammar nazis on this board more then once and have actually asked to have threads removed due to the bashing of my grammar becuase, there are times I am in a hurry and do not take the time to grammar check my post. That does not mean I should be gripped out about my bad grammar if you do not want to answer my question then don't, but to reply so rudely is childish.
