I had the problem of finding non medicated feed too. My solution was to buy a 15% ground pullet starter and then mix it 50/50 with soybean meal for the chicks (which is 32% protein) and for my growing birds I mix it 2 parts pullet starter, 1 part soybean meal (26 1/2%) protein).. Then when feeding my layers I just add a handful of oyster shells to the last mix every couple days. Everyone seems to be doing good on it, and I'm happy with the feed costs too.. Buying local here, I have less than $8.50/50 lb bag in it!
