Is a Little Giant incubator a good deal or just "Cheep, cheep."?

Nowhere you need to know
I've heard about all kinds of incubators, I wold love to hatch my own eggs but I'm worried about the incubator itself.

I've
looked online at several incubators and the LG still air seems a good price, but I've heard bad things about it.

I'm on a budget, so could you tell which incubator is good quality but doesn't exceed over $120.00?

I'd appreciate it.

I really don't want my eggs to never hatch.

I have 2 LG incubators and have had no issue with either. One has a turner and one does not. Neither have the fan option.

You will get subjective answers here, those who like them, those who hate them. I've never had a problem with mine, I'm happy with it, it's made it through 3 6th grade classes!

Some people have luck with LG, many do not, with my luck if I got one I would probably end up with cooked eggs.
The brinsea octagon eco looks good, its smaller but its plastic not styro and you could upgrade it to add a turner
later on. Its on special for $99 on the brinsea site. I'm using the king suro which is a similar design to the digital brinsea, and I really like the external type turner, you dont get eggs stuck in egg cups if they weep, plus its a lot easier to take the unit off the turner than having to move eggs and take the turner out of the incubator.

Well......It did work for me. BUT I had alot of temp fluctuations and spikes! It is very hard to keep humidity up and Very very very hard to add water to, with out opening the bator. Finally I used a syringe with a tiny tube on the end. and had to snake the tube into the trays . I also had to add water tubs in the bottom to get the humidity up to were it needed to be. Personally I hate it! It was a waste of money! I should have took what it cost and what I had to spend on a used sports man and I could have gotten a very nice new one! (anything but LG) Also..... DO NOT use any thermometers made by LG!!!!! I bought 3 and all 3 were wrong! All 3 were off by atleast 3 degrees! so it really depends. Yes it did work. Yes I had a good hatch. It was alot of watching temps (time wasted), It was very hard to regulate and keep humidity up, Temps would shoot up for no reason (didn't last long), Any styrofoam bator is extremely hard to clean after hatch! So Its really gonna depend on how much WORK and TIME you wanna put into your hatch.

Good Luck and God Bless!
