He is he was raised by me until he was 10 weeks old and he went outside with the others overnight, We picked up 3 females for him. We still have 2 of them lost one to egg binding.

Poor hen! He's a very beautiful drake! That's my favorite color of muscovy!

I have a couple and they are troublemakers

They like to prank the other ducks. Run up and nibble on the other ducks butt and then run off.

When I am in the pen. They line to fly behind me and just hover there creepily staring me in the eye

They are friendly though. Mine are just feisty

I have the feisty sort also! We had to increase our Rouen numbers last year to give Daphne some backup. Sometimes, the feistiness has a clear cause (broodiness). Sometimes, they’re just full of themselves! Muscovies definitely have 110% personality.

Of any one had pictures of your muscovy I would love to see them!!!

Muscovy have 15 or so eggs per brood. I had one where 14 of 15 hatched. Now I keep about 4 eggs or less.

Here is two of mine that are nesting. Notice the feather nests, they like to build and reuse their same nests too. Do other ducks do that too?

Here is my oldest female, sharing a nest with a broody chicken. I will eventually get her and the chicken eggs out.
