I ordered my babies, too (and yes, they were awful cute). I'm not allowed to have more, since hubby thinks 7 is already too many. But Jen wants 3 laying hens at an affordable price. She'd rather not spend the time/$ waiting for them to gorw up. So I'll have to keep checking around.

your right... we do really need something locally.. the places I know that have chickens I really wouldnt want..I just received my new babies a couple days ago... Fortunately my DH doesnt say anything..

We could have a TN, KY, AL, GA, AR, MS swap at my farm in Columbia. We have 80 acres and plenty of shade. It is less than a mile off I-65. Let me know if anyone want to do it and I will put up a post for it.

That would be a long drive for me and many others, so it would have to be on the weekend. But its certainly something to think about.

Ms. Jayne of N Alabama and I were already planning a swap at Tractor supply between chattanooga and monteagle. August 11th. Its just a get togather where you bring your chickens and sell them to whom ever. We've got a great rely from TSC and are really looking forward to it. C

I would like to have a pair of Toulouse Geese, adult or perferrably babies, and a Guinea hen, of breeding age.. MUST BE well taken care of.. anyone in Eastern Tn have these for sale??

Can you put geese and turkeys together??

Have you talked to the duck man? I had his number around here some where I can get it for you if you wish, he lives in beech grove.
